Jennifer Renn, Esq. was born and raised in Spencerport, New York. She graduated from Washington and Lee University in Lexington, Virginia in 1997. In 2003, Jennifer Renn, Esq. graduated from Washington and Lee School of Law. Thereafter, she was admitted to practice in New York State. In March of 2004, Jennifer Renn started her legal career as an Assistant District Attorney at the Monroe County District Attorney’s office. During her time as an Assistant District Attorney, she has prosecuted well over hundreds of misdemeanor and felony cases including driving while intoxicated offenses. In 2006, Ms. Renn, also, was a prosecutor in the Felony DWI bureau for five months before being promoted to the Major/Violent Felony Bureau. While in the local court bureau and Felony DWI, Ms. Renn prosecuted hundreds of misdemeanor and felony driving while intoxicated offenses. While in the Major/Felony Bureau, Ms. Renn prosecuted hundreds of violent felonies including robberies, burglaries, sexual assaults, and serious assault charges such as stabbings and shootings. She worked for over 2 years in the Major/Violent Felony Bureau before becoming an associate with the Law Office of Thomas D. Cook in August 2008.
